An hour's walk takes you from the hotel to Fors' medieval church over the river and through the old town and the city park with Carl Milles' sculpture God's Hand onwards to the church of Klosters Kyrka, Sweden's youngest monastic church.

Follow the beautiful Eskilstuna River to Munktellstaden, the old industrial area that now houses art and technology museums, new facilities for swimming and sports as well as magnificent old industrial buildings.

Cross the river via the new bridge Vestbroen and visit Rothoffsparken, a small botanical garden. Continue through the cultural reserve of Rademachersmedjorna and then head back to the hotel.
